I Would Describe Myself As

I am intelligent and curious. I am, always, seeking more knowledge about people, nature and spirituality (but not in the religious sense). Love, kindness and empathy are some of the things I wish to grow within myself and express towards others.

I love family. I come from a large family and we are, all, close in spirit if not geographically. Family is a huge source of loving and being loved for me.

I love community. This gives me a sense of belonging, acceptance and fellowship. After all, we are social animals and being "a part of" is important to me.

I love nature. The flora and fauna, along with the land and water that gives life, nourishes my soul and sense of wonder. The infiniteness of the stars and planets in the night sky fills me with awe.

I will find the beauty in what others may consider mundane.

I love motorcycles. Riding gives me the sense of being in the environment instead of just going through it. I've been riding most of my life and have about 500,000 miles in the saddle. My safety, while riding, has always been a priority. I have taken many riding classes and my skills are better than average. For you to enjoy riding with me would be nice, but it is your choice.

I love great food and deserts. Especially, deserts! If you're on a diet, I may be a problem for you. I was blessed with a high metabolism. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, too. Healthy food along with food for the soul. That's a well balanced diet in my book.

I have a creative soul. I see the beauty in most things. Being mindful and having my head and heart where my feet are allows me to see what others may miss. I have painted (oils). I love photography. I've attempted the violin and guitar (I **** really good at both). Nonetheless, I've learned more about music and have a greater awareness while listening to those that are good. I've designed and built custom motorcycles that have won many shows and were featured in magazines. I have designed furniture that graces my home. My latest passion is writing. It allows me to express that which I may not say, even to myself.

I have no need for a woman to "complete" me. I have no interest in being complete. Always progress, but never perfection. My only wish is to be in love again.

I adore strong, independent women, but not the controlling type. I, too, am strong and independent. Mutual respect for each other's boundaries is how this will work.

I, also, have a humorous side. I will make you laugh. I'm a bit irreverent. Sometimes I laugh at inappropriate things. It's more about seeing the truth in things than being disrepectful. Laughter is the child within seeing and experiencing the pure joy of life.
